To answer your comment "I have no idea at this time what they base their “rankings” on," the rankings are a direct reflection of the individual rankings of the engines. The results are compared based on their actual URLs. The results found by the same number of engines are mapped into the same circular ring. The position within the ring depends on the average of the rank position in the lists that contain the result. The higher up, the closer toward the center. So if an image is found by all five engines and is the #1 result for all engines (from a SEO point of view, the perfect outcome), then it will be placed in the very center.
