Barring an Event heretofore unheralded, such as an Act of God, or ye Other, which contributeth no gainsayable Cause or Reason, yet which renders yr humble Commentator insensate or immobile or that which engenders any other Circumstances, the Nature of which may impede me from joining at once to this whimsical Exercise, I ought to advance the proposition that Yr. Humble &ct. &ct., might himself be of no small Utility in this Matter.

If any knave challengeth my Right as a Participant, I shall produce Shillelagh, Cudgel, &ct., and brandish Same furiously. An this prove an insufficient Deterrent, so shall I cry "Fie!" and engage the enemy with Small-Sword and ye trusty Dodo-fowlinge piece (this Last being a fearsomely effective -and surprisingly specialized- Article of Weaponrie, gifted me by the late Caliph of Baghdad, as payment for rescuing his Harem from Fish-Monsters, but that is a tale for another Time).

I think an essay contest would be fun, and I think people would dig it, but it is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, etc. I think we should consider accepting all creative submissions, no medium excluded.

Do we know if they prefer a particular kind of content to another? They may want to put this stuff on tv, so visually depicting some sort of prehensile mutant vagina, no matter how tasteful the execution, might be a no-no. What's the deal there?
