I have made it fairly obvious for you, I think.

I have made it fairly obvious for you, I think. Click to Big-ify. (I should have cropped out the adverts to fit this, sorry!)

I get so immensely frustrated by the bullshit rodeos that spring up around certain concepts sometimes. However, to really take the time to dissect this nonsense in a meaningful fashion would end one of two ways:

  1. Unending flaming from kool-aid drunken supporters of the individual whose ideas I am opposed to.
  2. No actual rebuttal from the individual whose ideas I expressed opposition to.

I have decided that this particular type of time wasting, eye-rolling fiasco can be summed up as “tilting at windbags” which is something I should like to avoid as much as possible.

So instead, I decided to temper my frustration with unicorns! :D I like unicorns.

  1. I think people get confused when they talk about Twitter and Google. Mostly because Google takes a while to index most stuff, whereas Twitter is real-time (as long as your tweets don’t get eaten). However saying that Twitter is a search engine is insanely inaccurate, bordering on irresponsible. Twitter itself was not even searchable before third-party services like Summize started using the Twitter API.

    Also, unicorns.
