Well, just as its downtime was unannounced, so too is its resurrection. Out of habit I went to shrink down a url using my URLTea bookmarklet (which I refused to dispose of until I knew for sure), lo and behold it worked! Not only did it work, it worked super fast.
What is going on in [...]

The front page of the site finally got an overhaul! As you can see, it is much less of a CSS nightmare than what the Wayback Machine will prove the previous incarnations were. It’s also got a custom fancy wallpaper-y background, too. As more content emerges that is best suited to its very own page, [...]

It’s been a very Twitter-heavy weekend, as previous posts will demonstrate. I had a brief spat with some woman named Amanda Chapel because I had issues with the idea of arguing against the merits of internet culture on the internet. Particularly on such a limited platform such as Twitter. I really need to think and [...]

I just want to apologize for any visitors who have actually gone to infinitedesu.com. While I feel as though I did provide fair warning when I originally linked it, I was looking at WPStats and couldn’t help but notice that people have actually clicked on that.
What you will find, upon visiting infinitedesu.com is the following: [...]

Ordinarily, I get really excited when there’s mail sitting in my inbox saying that I’ve gotten a comment! While a lot of times it’s just an approval request for some spammer than actually bypassed Akismet, there are the periodic genuine comments which are always a joy. (And I thank you, commenters, for taking the time [...]

Today I put a click mapping app on RandomKitty.net. It will give me “heat maps” of where people click when they are on the main page of the blog. I may add it elsewhere, but the home page needs an overhaul before I do that. If you’d like to view the current heat map of [...]

Let it never be said that Twitter is a useless web app. Thanks to Twitter friend doshdosh, I’ve discovered an article which may assist me in refining my goals for this website, such as they are, and increase readership and hopefully feedback as well.
The article on problogger.net is titled From 0 to 2000+ Subscribers [...]

Hey kids! In conjunction with my desire to generate more user feedback here at the RKNet, I wish to take a moment to voice my support for The Great Mofo Delurk 2007.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some RSS. It allows me to read far more interesting articles per day than visiting individual blogs [...]

Dear Diary,
Today I was all excited because I thought I had a bunch of comments. “12 comments in moderation”, I saw on my dashboard! My goodness! It was like a dream come true. A chance to find out who - if anyone - is reading, and find out their thoughts on any one of the [...]

Ever wanted a quick visual representation of a particular set of search options from multiple engines? Search Crystal has you covered. It provides 3 different ways to view search results: clustered, spiraled, and listed. It will show you which engines pull up which results, too. So if Google and MSN are showing the same results, [...]
